Sometimes our work situation confuses people, and, we can’t blame them. I have a day job – in an office, a real one that pays the bills – and blog from home in the evenings and on the weekends. Luke also has a full-time job, but he works from home all the time.

So, having a good set-up for working from home is pretty important to us both. We’ve converted our second bedroom into a study, allowing Luke to have his own space to make clients’ website dreams come true. After working from a traditional seated desk for years, he made the switch to a standing desk set-up earlier this year, but in quite the DIY fashion. While it worked for what he needed, it looked pretty terrible and wasn’t at all the professional work environment we wanted to create....
