Bulk Orders from 10 Workstations
Corporate orders start from 10 workstations or R20,000. We supply sit-stand workstations, height-adjustable desks and office furniture for larger workplace projects, with quantities and requirements quoted per project.
Five things a reseller can’t offer you
One named contact, and direct access to our team
One person who knows your project and can answer directly throughout the process. For larger orders, we can also offer branded CNC engraving, with your client's branding cut directly into the product for orders of 20 units or more.
Our own machinery, our own workshop
Your order is cut, finished and packed at our workshop in Ndabeni, Cape Town. Because we manufacture locally, we have full control over production, quality and project requirements.
Made to order
Our products are made to order rather than simply pulled from a warehouse. If your project requires a change in dimensions or specifications, we can assess the requirement and manufacture accordingly.
Custom finishes
Clear-sealed birch is our standard finish. For projects requiring a specific look, we can offer stained or vanished finishes, Samples can be provided before you commit.
Honest lead times
Every quoted date is checked against our production schedule before the quotation is sent. We give you a realistic lead time based on our actual manufacturing capacity, rather than a generic estimate.
A Track Record Built on Real Products
DeskStand has sold more than 250,000 products since 2015 and has earned a 4.6★ Google rating from our retail customers. That experience comes from designing, manufacturing and supplying DeskStand products for thousands of customers across South Africa.
Our dedicated corporate and workplace offering is newer, so we won't present our retail history as a corporate fit-out track record we don't yet have. Instead, we bring the same manufacturing capability, product knowledge and direct customer support to every business project we take on.
Designed From the Sheet Up
Our CNC manufacturing process starts with the sheet itself. We plan each cut around the requirements of the project, whether you need complete workstations, additional risers or a combination of products.
The Edge Is in the Detail
We use 18mm birch plywood, finished with the ply edge left visible rather than covered with edge banding. This makes the construction of each component visible and gives the furniture its distinctive solid-ply appearance.
The internal corners retain the radius created by our CNC cutting process, giving each part a consistent finish across the order.
Volume Pricing for Every Project
We offer project-based pricing for larger orders, with better pricing available as quantities increase. Rather than publish a fixed rate card, we quote each project based on the products, quantities, finishes, specifications and delivery requirements.

01. Mixed orders count together.
Risers, desks and Opendesk pieces on one purchase order total
against the same band. -
02. Phased rollouts hold their band.
Commit to the total up front and take delivery across the year,
and you are priced at the total, not at each drop. -
03. 50 units or R250,000 is a major project.
Staged production, a phase schedule and milestone invoicing,
agreed before anything is cut. -
04. What we won’t do is win on price.
There is imported furniture that lands cheaper than us. It also
lands in twelve weeks, in one finish, with nobody to call. We’d
rather be measured on the other columns.
Seven steps, and where each one can move
1. Enquiry
You send the form. A person reads it and responds, not an autoresponder.
2. Scoping
A video call, or in person if you are in Cape Town. We take your floor plan, quantities, finish palette and the date you need to be operational.
3. Quote
Line-by-line pricing, finish specification and a production schedule with real dates. Samples posted alongside.
4. Deposit and slot
The production slot is reserved on cleared deposit, not before. This is the step where a date most often moves, and it is the one you control.
5. Production
Cut, finished, assembled and packed here. Working days, and electric powered desks are subject to frame supply. Plywood pieces take longer and are scheduled per order. Orders of 25 units and up run in phases against the schedule you signed off, so the first group is in use while the rest is still on the machine.
6. Freight
Palletised through our local courier, tracked, to a delivery window you can book against. Quoted as a line on your order, separately from production. Western Cape and Gauteng are the fastest lanes.
6. Assembly
Goods ship flat-packed for self-assembly. Printed instructions in the box, . We do not run install crews. If you need a contractor on site, say so at scoping and we will tell you straight rather than leaving it quietly out of the quote.
